Gene is an optometrist by training with significant operational and business development experience. He brings deep expertise in clinical operations, managed care contracting, provider network strategy, and health system navigation.

He earned his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University, his Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, and his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry (Dipl. ABO).

He has built and acquired optometry practices, scaling a startup location to over $1 million in revenue within two years. His 15+ years of experience spans private practice, corporate optometry, and ophthalmology settings, including approximately nine years in managed care as a Medical Director for a national ophthalmic insurance company, focusing on claims management, prior authorization medical review, and provider credentialing.

Daniele is a licensed optometrist with over 15 years of clinical and managed care leadership experience, including serving as an Associate Medical Director at a specialty vision managed care plan. She has expertise in clinical operations, managed care contracting, provider network strategy, and health system navigation.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Central Florida, her Doctor of Optometry from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, and completed a Primary Care Residency at the State University of New York College of Optometry. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and received a National Eye Institute research grant at the University of Houston College of Optometry, co-authoring multiple publications during her training.

She practiced for over seven years in a high-volume multispecialty ophthalmology practice in New York City, where she also served as an adjunct clinical professor, before transitioning to a managed care role in South Florida focused on clinical review, utilization management, and provider collaboration.
